Who is Rachel & What is REST?

“REST” was founded by Rachel Thomas. An Afro-Latina woman and a licensed cosmetologist. She has over 25 years of unparalleled experience in the beauty industry.

She had the opportunity to explore various roles. These roles range from shampoo assistant to hair model, wig maker, manager, and Spa Director. Her journey has allowed her to collaborate with skilled technicians. She has worked with renowned product companies such as Pureology, Wella, and Redken. I also collaborated with Essie, Dazzle Dry, OPI, Cuccio, Bare Minerals, and Aveda. Her collaborations extended to Murad, SkinCeuticals, Image, Dermalogica, and GM Collins. She has gained much knowledge and many connections over the years. This has enabled her to create Rachel’s Exclusive Spa Treatments. It also allowed her to establish REST Mobile Spa Events.

REST is driven by a deep passion for quality, representation, and community impact. Its mission is to create transformative products that genuinely make a difference. We focus on delivering premium care solutions specifically designed for diverse hair types and textures. With Rachel’s Exclusive Spa Treatments, we offer specialized product lines that address a significant gap in the market. I am dedicated to sourcing only natural, organic, and ethically produced ingredients. These ingredients are safe for both hair and skin. They are also beneficial. Each formulation harnesses the power of nourishing ingredients like shea butter, aloe Vera, and castor oil. These ingredients deliver deep hydration. They also provide revitalization.
